Email and Registration Documents
Digital versions of registration forms are stored on Microsoft’s cloud-based file hosting and synchronisation service, OneDrive. Data stored on OneDrive is subject to monitoring by Microsoft who state that “strict internal policies [are] in place to limit access to a user’s data and that they have been committed to achieving GDPR compliance across their cloud services since enforcement began in May, 2018. Product and service usage data also follow a controlled lifecycle designed to comply with GDPR data subject requests.

A hard copy registration form is signed by client and stored and referenced for the term of the customer’s cat’s stay at Pear Tree Cattery. This hard copy is stored in a ‘Staff Only’ secure environment and at no point is the form or its contents shared with anyone outside the organisation.
Website Software and Personal Data
This website is built using WordPress. By default, WordPress does not collect any personal data about visitors, and only collects the data shown on the User Profile screen from registered users. Personal data is also generated from technical processes such as contact forms, comments, cookies, analytics, and third party plugins.
Personal details generated from the use of contact forms are not stored on our database. We do not use the information submitted through them for marketing purposes and that information is never passed on to third parties.
The information collected by email forms is not stored anywhere on the website or database. You may, at any time, request that email enquiries and conversations are deleted.
Analytics and Tracking Data
We use Google Analytics on our website to monitor web visits, engagement and for SEO purposes. The use of Google Analytics involves collecting personal data including IP addresses, user IDs, cookies, browser type, browser version, the pages of our site that you visit, the time and daate of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. We do not use the information for either marketing or remarketing purposes and that information is never passed on to third parties.

We employ third party companies to facilitate our website (ie hosting and domain name). We are currently using 123Reg for a shared hosting package and domain registration service for this website.
